MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
MASTER CHRIS LEYESA
Chirtsopher Leyesa is the owner, founder, and chief instructor of the Wushu Taekwon-Do Academy inc., and holds a 7th Degree Black Belt in Taekwon-Do, as well as a 5th degree in Wushu / Taiji. With over 35+ years of teaching experience and teaching all three disciplines as a full time career, he has earned the titles and rank of “Sifu” and “Sahunim” (master titles). Alongside training clients for personal health, he trains students to compete at local, national, and international competitions.

WTA is built on discipline, respect, confidence, and perseverance. Every student learns not just techniques, but how to carry themselves with focus, humility, and pride. We support beginners, returning students, and advanced competitors alike.
LEGACY
For over 15 years, Wushu Taekwon-Do Academy has trained students in both traditional and modern martial arts. Over the years, our athletes and instructors have represented Team USA, competed at national events, and participated in world championship-level training.
TRAINING
Every student has their own goal. Whether you're working toward a black belt, building fitness and confidence, learning self-defense, or preparing for competition, we offer a clear training path. This includes youth and adult classes, private lessons, and dedicated competition team training.
HALL OF FAME
Our Hall of Fame honors the athletes and coaches who have set the standard at WTA — competitors who have represented Team USA, medaled at national and international tournaments, and competed on the world stage. Their achievements inspire the next generation of students to train harder, aim higher, and continue the legacy of excellence.
